You don’t need a medical background. You just need a willing heart and a little time.

Ways you can help.
Family Support Volunteers
Help provide practical support that makes hospital life more manageable for families. This role may include assembling care packages and hospital day kits, coordinating meal drop offs or gift cards as assigned, offering simple check ins and encouragement to families, and helping maintain essential supply inventory.
Skilled Volunteers
Contribute professional expertise to high-impact projects that strengthen our work. Depending on your background, this may include photography or video storytelling, graphic design or web support, grant research assistance, legal, accounting, or HR support, or helping create and manage social media content.
Family connection volunteers
Help extend compassion and reassurance to families during some of their hardest days. This role may include sending encouragement notes, helping prepare welcome materials, supporting light-touch check-ins when appropriate, and assisting with family-centered communications that remind families they are seen and not alone.
Outreach & Community
Help grow the village so more families can be supported. This role may include sharing information with local businesses and community groups, assisting with tabling at events, helping connect Hand to Heart Village with corporate partners, churches, and service clubs, and supporting awareness campaigns both locally and online..
Fundraising & Event Volunteers
Help run meaningful events that directly fuel family support. This role may include assisting with event setup and breakdown, supporting check-in tables and registration, helping with silent auctions, and assisting with donation and sponsor follow-up after events.
Admin & Operations Volunteer
Help keep Hand to Heart Village organized so families can receive support faster. This role may include data entry and record organization, sending thank-you notes to donors, organizing documents and basic research, and helping maintain resource and partner lists.
